PEDRATOPIA Collective runs The Design Party website. This policy explains what information we collect through the site, how we use it, and how to contact us about it.

Information you give us

If you submit artwork, we collect the details you provide in the form. These may include your name, email address, phone number, location, portfolio or social handle, creative discipline, artwork title and description, collaborators, files or links to your work, and how you heard about us. If you contact us by email, we also receive your message and any information you choose to include.

How we use it

We use submissions to review work for The Design Party, contact artists about their submissions, plan the event, and display selected work after speaking with the artist. We use messages sent to us to respond to enquiries. We do not sell your personal information.

Website services and storage

The site is hosted by Vercel. Artwork files uploaded through the form are stored in Vercel Blob, and submission details and file links are emailed to our team using Resend. Uploaded files have link-accessible URLs, so please do not submit material you need to keep confidential. We share submission information with these providers so they can deliver those services. They may process information outside Australia.

The site also embeds videos from Vimeo. Loading those videos may send technical information, such as your IP address and browser details, to Vimeo. Our hosting provider may record similar technical information in server logs. We do not currently run our own advertising or analytics trackers on this site.

Event photography

We may photograph or film The Design Party to share the event afterwards. If you would rather stay off camera, please tell the photographer or videographer at the event. We do not share photos of children online.

Keeping and protecting information

We keep submissions and related correspondence for as long as reasonably needed to review work, run the event, respond to enquiries, and meet any applicable legal obligations. We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold. If you want an uploaded file or submission removed, please contact us.

Your requests and questions

You can ask to access or correct information we hold about you, request deletion, or raise a privacy concern by emailing hello@pedratopia.com. We will respond and explain if we cannot fulfil a request. You can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner about a privacy complaint.

We may update this page as the site and event change. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
